⋆ ˚｡⋆ ౨ৎ ⋆˚ ･ﾟ☆･ﾟ⋆ ˚｡⋆ ౨ৎ ⋆˚ ･ﾟ☆･ﾟAll-femme/them alternative rock band Slowicide is the daughter of divorced dad rock, taking the fury of 90s riot grrrl punk and fusing it with melodic indie pop.Based in Vancouver, BC, Slowicide was established in late 2023 by Filipina-Canadian vocalist/rhythm guitarist Raine Bongon and has since evolved into a quartet including Sophia Castellarin on lead guitar, Yaz Gruno on drums/backing vocals and Brie Dunphy on bass/backing vocals.Since their debut on Vancouver's underground punk scene, the band has released three promising singles, played local festivals such as Music Waste and garnered radio play on CiTR 101.9 FM, Girls Rock Camp Vancouver Radio 100.5 FM and 3615 Radio in Paris, France.
